Hope Nation Radio Founder Nile Peaytt lands international success

Nile “Big Daddy” Peaytt

One of the most caring and inspiring people I have ever met is Nile Peaytt, known to his friends (including me!) as “Big Daddy” who co-founded a wonderful organization known as Hope Nation Radio (HNR). Scroll down to read more about the programming on HNR, including shows that can be enjoyed by kids in hospital.  But here is news about Nile spreading Nashville’s music worldwide.

“By doing these shows overseas, we have a chance to bring a taste of Nashville to places that are hungry for country music. Having a chance to be that voice means the world to me. We’re about to paint the world redneck.” – Nile “Big Daddy” Peaytt

Nile “Big Daddy” Peaytt of Hope Nation Radio has recently launched two brand new weekly syndicated radio shows, 90’s Country Flashback and 615 The Grind. 90’s Country Flashback, as the name alludes to, focuses on playing the best country hits from the 90’s while 615 The Grind is geared towards today’s country, new country artists and country news. Though the shows have only been around for a short amount of time, both have already been picked up internationally.

Shows airing in Ireland and Australia

90’s Country Flashback has seen success in Dublin, Ireland where it has been picked up on Total Country FM (listen online here via TuneIn)  on Tuesdays at 6PM, Wednesdays at 7AM, Thursdays at 1PM, and Sundays at 6PM (GMT). “I love doing this show!” says Nile. “These artists blazed a trail and their music set the charts on fire. 90’s country was something special.”

615 The Grind has been successfully added on The Wolf Australia, the only Australian radio station dedicated to playing new country. This show which airs every Tuesday at 6:15PM Sydney/Melbourne time brings fans the latest and greatest country straight from Nashville. This station adds another country to Nile’s list of international expansions. “Sydney has been a HUGE supporter for Hope Nation Radio over the years. So, it’s very special that this syndicated show got picked up in Sydney. Great market, great listeners and just can’t wait to bring them the best in today’s country.”

From London to Luxembourg

Both shows have also been picked up in London and Luxembourg. London listeners can tune in to Sunshine Radio UK. 615 The Grind airs Tuesdays at 5PM (GMT) and 90’s Country Flashback airs Mondays at 5PM (GMT).

Fans can also tune in to 94.7FM Gilsdorf, the one and only country radio station in Luxembourg. They recently just added 615 The Grind and 90’s Country Flashback airs on Thursdays at 7PM (GMT+1) and can be live streamed here.

“By doing these shows overseas, we have a chance to bring a taste of Nashville to places that are hungry for country music,” said Nile. “Having a chance to be that voice means the world to me. We’re about to paint the world redneck.”

These international successes fall right on the heels of Hope Nation Radio’s expansion this past September into West Virginia. However, the growing buzz around HNR and success of Nile’s syndicated shows has not deterred the benevolent station from continuing their many awareness campaigns. Listeners and followers of HNR can still keep up with their Kid of the Month, Artist Spotlight, charitable events and much more at www.HopeIsEverything.org, as well as on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. About Hope Nation Radio

Formed in 2013 by Nile Peaytt and Thomas Hammonds, this non-profit 501c station plays a variety of country music, pop, rock, contemporary, Christian and gospel from signed and independent artists. This is a station anyone can listen to, including the children in the hospital; whether it be for a lengthy stay or to help pass the time while getting treatments.

With several different radio shows on their station including HNR LIVE, Saturday Night Spotlight, Music City Rocks, Dr. Paws Biblical Explorer, and Fuell For The Day, this station has something for everyone. What was inspired by a talk Nile had with 11-year-old Savannah Swandal at her bed side just weeks before passing away, has now evolved into spreading hope, raising awareness and inspiring others to join the fight. “We wanted to connect with these kids from all over the country, bring smiles and inspire people to get involved in their community,” says Nile.

Bringing awareness of childhood cancer

Hope Nation Radio goes above and beyond to care for those in need and bring awareness to childhood cancer, its reach continues to grow and strengthen year by year. They host multiple benefit shows in Nashville, lit up the Bridgestone Arena, Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge, Fifth Third Center skyscraper and the Wildhorse Saloon.

They also coordinate gatherings with cancer patients and their families, as well as HNR House Parties which provides kids fighting cancer the opportunity to enjoy a concert right in their living room. As they inspire schools, communities, businesses and individuals to help raise awareness, the Nashville country music family and the West Virginia community have opened their arms and hearts graciously to help spread the word.
